The annual run will now take place on Monday, November 23. Due to the wet weather forecast and availability of police to support our annual run, we are rescheduling the annual Turkey Trot to Monday, November 23. As a result of this date cahnge, we may need to enlist the help of back-up parent volunteers for the morning of the event. The 1.3 mile Annual Schoolwide Turkey Trot Run/Walk is taking place on November 23 at Patapsco Middle School, all students and staff will be participating. Any student/staff member medically unable to run or walk will be included in this event in another way. Please encourage all students to wear warm clothes and comfortable shoes. They will be able to take coats, hats, and gloves if necessary. Our canned food drive is taking place in conjunction with this activity, non-perishable food items are being collected in your child's social studies class. Food will be sent to Grass Roots of Howard County just in time for the Thanksgiving holiday. Parents are also invited to run in this event, please leave your pets at home, however. Race start time is 8:30, please be here no later than 8:15. Thank you in advance to those parents who signed up to help in the trot!
