North Bay Field Trip Chaperones Chosen!

Thank you to ALL the 6th grade parents and guardians who volunteered to chaperone our trip to NorthBay next month… we had close to 50 volunteers!

A lottery was held and 32 volunteers were selected and are being contacted by Mrs. Pfoutz.

IMPORTANT: If you volunteered to chaperone and have NOT received an email from Mrs. Pfoutz by 10pm on Wednesday, you have not been selected.

We thank you again for your volunteerism and look forward to taking our 6th grade students to NorthBay October 9-11.

Our first lunch is Friday, September 29th! And remember, be a buddy - not a bully!

Flu Clinic RE-SCHEDULED

Due to lower-than-expected numbers for our upcoming flu clinic next week, we have decided to postpone our clinic until mid-October in order to give families more time to complete and return consents. Your children will all be bringing home paper copies of the consent form today..  IF YOU HAVE ALREADY COMPLETED AN ELECTRONIC OR PAPER CONSENT, you do not need to fill out another one.  If you haven't yet filled out a consent and would like your child to be vaccinated against the flu, please fill out either the paper consent that comes home with your student today or the online consent at www.vaccineconsent.com

Please return no later than OCTOBER 2nd.

Please disregard the due date on the paper consent. You will be notified of the new clinic date as soon as it is determined. Thank you for your patience and flexibility.  Any questions, please call the Health Room 410-313-2574

PTA Membership Close to Goal

The PTA membership drive is off to an excellent start for the 2017-2018 academic year. Patapsco families have joined the PTA and made additional donations for a total $8,621 or our $10,000 goal—$1,379 to go.

Remember, the Patapsco PTA does not ask you to sell anything. Membership and donations fund the PTA budget that provides curriculum enhancements and social activities to make your child’s Patapsco experience special. Last year, the PTA funded items and events such as:

·      8th grade class promotion and celebration activities

·      Physical education equipment

·      Social activities, such as Spring Fling and the Snow Ball

·      The GT Enrichment Fair

Here’s how to help reach the PTA goal:

·       Complete the PTA membership form that was sent home and send into your child’s homeroom in an envelope marked “PTA Support”

·       OR visit online store for EASY checkout: https://squareup.com/store/patapsco-middle-school-pta/

Email  patapscopta@gmail.com with questions or to request a membership form.
