Parent/Teacher Conferences are scheduled for February 12-13, 2015. Parents and Guardians of Patapsco Middle School students will use the web-based program PickATime to schedule conferences on-line, print a schedule of appointments, and opt to receive email reminders of appointments. To access the program and begin scheduling, click on the PickATime link found on our school website (pms.hcpss.org) or the school systems main webpage (www.hcpss.org) anytime from Monday, February 2 at 6am through Tuesday, February 10 at 11:59pm. After the scheduling window has closed, you will need to call our Student Services Center at (410) 313-2850 to cancel or reschedule appointments.
The purpose of this conference window is to allow parents/guardians the opportunity for a quick meet and greet with staff to discuss student progress. Accordingly, each conference slot is ten minutes long. If you have a pressing concern, you are strongly encouraged to contact the teacher to discuss it outside of the conference window. PickATime does not allow for the scheduling of group conferences. If you would like to meet with all of your students’ teachers at one time, please contact the grade level team leader to schedule an appointment. When scheduling conferences, be certain to build in travel time from one conference to the next, as it is important to stay on schedule.
To permit access to our staff by all parents with interest, each parent may initially schedule appointments with two teachers. After February 9 at 3:00pm, the limits will be removed and parents may schedule as many additional conferences as desired provided staff availability. Please note that all Howard County Public Schools will offer a fewer number of conference slots this year during the February parent-teacher conferences due to a revised school calendar. The number of slots offered reflects recent trends with regard to parent attendance during February conferences. Parent participation is strongly encouraged but remains optional. Attendance during February conferences will continue to be closely monitored to determine if future adjustments to the school calendar are needed. As always, if you're unable to obtain a conference slot during the conference window, you can call or email your child's teacher to arrange for an alternative conference time.
In order to schedule a conference, you will need your child’s Student ID number. The Student ID number can be found on: Aspen under the ‘My Info’ tab and on the top of a student schedule, report card, or progress report.

Unfortunately, a Student ID number cannot be given over the telephone.
