The Outdoor Education Program for our sixth grade class is planned for October 5th through the 7th, 2016 at NorthBay Environmental Learning Center located in North East, Maryland one hour north of Baltimore on the Chesapeake Bay.  Students study science in an exciting, hands-on outdoor setting where there is also a focus on adventure, life skills, and character development.  The lessons take place away from school and are primarily taught outdoors; therefore, we are making special plans to prepare students.

We hope you will be able to join us on Thursday, September 8th at 7:00pm in the cafeteria for a Parent Information Session. In the meantime, there are many documents that will be required for students who participate in the program.  For your convenience, we are making some of them available for download here on this site.  Of particular interest to many families are the medical forms.  Those students who require medications will need to have various forms completed by a physicians office. The cost for each student is $170.00, which covers all meals, activities, commemorative T-shirt,and transportation costs. This fee is payable via Online School Payments, check, or money order.

We will send home complete packets with students during the opening week of school.  All forms and paperwork are due no later than Wednesday, September 14, 2016.
